St. Thomas OCYM Ahmadi, Kuwait (A spiritual organization under St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Pazhayapalli, Ahmadi, Kuwait) conducted a One Day Conference on 1st January 2017 from 8:30am to 4:00pm at KOC Unity Center, Ahmadi, Kuwait. The Theme of the conference was “BEAUTY OF SILENCE”. Members from all Parishes of Malankara Indian Orthodox Church in Kuwait participated in this conference.
H.G Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius (Metropolitan of Calcutta Diocese) and H.G Dr. Mathews Mar Severios (Metropolitan of Kandanad west Diocese & Holy Synod Secretary) blessed the event with their presence & classes were taken based on the theme. Mr.Vinod varghese (Vice President, STOCYM) welcome all the dignitaries and Fr.Anil Varghese (Vicar, St.Thomas IO Pazhayapalli) made the presidential address. The felicitation speech was given by Rev.Fr. Raju Thomas, Rev.Fr. Shaji P Joshua, Rev.Fr. Sanju John, Rev.Fr. Saju Varghese and Rev.Fr. Varghese P.C.
Church Trustee Mr. Benny Varghese and Secretary Mr. Anu Padathara were also given the felicitation speech.
A Bible Quiz was carried out by quiz master Mr.James George as a part of the event in which teams from all the Malankara Orthodox Parishes in Kuwait were participated.
The leadership of STOCYM Secretary Mr. Sherin.M.Daniel, Trustee Mr. Deebu Mathew, General Convener Mr. Rogin Mathew and Joint Convener Mr.Bibin Kuttikandathil and other conveners made the conference a grand success.
